The biggest thermometer in the world

The biggest thermometer in the world is named “golden cudgel”. This name is from the famous fairy story in China.  This golden cudgel thermometer is located in the scenic region of  Mountain of Flames, it stands in the center of the underground palace , it is one of the landmark in the scenic region of Mountain of Flames.

The golden cudgel was built on August 16^th , 2004. It won the Guinness world the biggest.

The outside diameter of the huge thermometer is 0.65 meter , height of it is meters , the display size is 5.4 meters, it can measure the temperature of the land surface , the air which within 100 ℃， and the accuracy is +/-0.5℃.  The wind- resistance is 12 class, and the seismic prevention intensity is 7 degrees.
